Statement of Faith
Having been led to the repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, we believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection, and in Water Baptism.
We Believe...
It is our belief that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16)
We believe in the Holy Trinity, as three separate people, each with a job to do: God the Father - the Creator (Genesis 1:1); God the Son - the Administrator (John 14:6); God the Holy Spirit - the Comforter, serving in the lives of believers. (Luke 12:12) Three separate Beings - One in total Unity.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (Revelations 22)
We believe the only way to be saved is by accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, renouncing the ways of the world (Satan). (I John 1:7)
We also believe in: Miracles, Prophecy; Speaking in Tongues; Interpretation of Tongues; Healings, both Spiritual and Physical. (I Corinthians 12:13, 14)
We believe in Loyalty to God, Family and Country. To care for one another in brotherly love, to remember each other in prayer, to aid each other in sickness and distress, to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech, to be slow to take offense and also be ready for reconciliation. (John 13:35)
We believe that as Christians we are to witness faithfully to the saving and keeping power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so that in every way we bring lost men and women to a saving knowledge of Him. (Matthew 28:18-20)
We endeavor to bring a saving knowledge of Christ to all over who we have the care and influence, to walk circumspectly in the world, to be just in our dealings and faithful in our engagements. (Romans 12:2)
We do not believe a Christian should be boisterous, given to drunkenness, or a user of illicit drugs, and should never speak negatively of any of God's children. (II Timothy 3:2-5)
We are a non-denominational church.
